Amid regional developments and attempts to target the Kurdish presence, voices calling for a unified Kurdish stance are growing louder. These voices emphasize that unity is the best way to preserve the gains achieved over past years and to ensure stability in the region.

In this context, Nazha Saif al-Din from the town of Çil Axa in al-Jazira canton stated that the current phase requires Kurdish political forces to cooperate and work jointly, stressing that “today is a day for Kurdish unity, not a day for partisan disputes.”

She added that there are attempts to sow discord among Kurds by deepening divisions, with the aim of weakening them and undermining their achievements. She called on the Kurdish people not to fall into the trap of such attempts and to rally around their common goals.

She emphasized that “the strength of the Kurds lies in their unity,” noting that unity at this sensitive stage is a fundamental necessity. She urged Kurdish forces, especially in Rojava, to listen to the voice of the people and work to protect the Kurdish presence.

For her part, Fatima Suleiman from Çil Axa affirmed that calls for Kurdish unity, under difficult circumstances, reflect the importance of this step in confronting challenges, noting that ignoring these calls is unacceptable.

She added that the continuation of partisan disputes contributes to deepening divisions at a time when parts of Kurdistan are facing repeated attacks, which requires serious action to unify ranks and strengthen joint efforts.

She explained that “the enemies of the Kurds do not distinguish between them on a partisan basis, but rather target their existence as a whole,” considering that unifying political discourse is essential to ensuring security and stability and confronting the threats facing the Kurdish people.

In turn, Mahmoud Ali from the town of Çil Axa said that Kurdish unity is no longer an option but a necessity in light of increasing challenges, warning that continued division could lead to the loss of achievements and expose the Kurdish people to significant risks.

He added that the current phase requires a high level of coordination among various Kurdish forces and the adoption of a unified political discourse in the face of threats, stressing that unity is the only way to protect the Kurdish people and ensure their continuity.

In conclusion, Mahmoud Ali called for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Öcalan, considering that he can play a pivotal role in unifying Kurdish ranks and strengthening the path of joint action.
