Child injured by Turkish Gendarmerie gunfire

A child was injured to varying degrees after being directly targeted by Turkish Gendarmerie "border guards" gunfire.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a child was injured by Turkish Gendarmerie "border guards" gunfire near the camps of  Al-Zouf village in western Idlib countryside. The child was transferred to the hospital for treatment, without his name being mentioned.

This brings the number of martyr civilians documented by the same source by Turkish Gendarmerie "border guards" gunfire to 14 since the beginning of 2024, in various Syrian areas near and along the border with Turkey. Additionally, 29 civilians, including two children, have been injured.
