Casualty Toll of Turkish attacks in NE Syria climbs to 41

According to the  Health Board of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, the casualty count from Turkish occupation forces and affiliated mercenary groups has escalated, with total fatalities now standing at 41 civilians and 245 wounded, including 7 journalists and 6 medical personnel, since 8 January.

The records confirm that between 8 January and the present date, 24 civilians were martyred and 221 injured in indiscriminate artillery shelling targeting the vicinity of the Tishrin Dam, including direct strikes on the dam’s infrastructure. 

 In the Euphrates administrative Canton, specifically Sereen city, 12 civilians, including two children were martyred, and 13 others sustained injuries during targeted bombardments on 25 January. Among the wounded, one child remains in critical condition under intensive care. 

 Separately, a Turkish drone strike on a residential building in Kobani on 29 January resulted in 2 fatalities and 1 injury.

 In Jazira Canton, artillery attacks on Zarghan city and its rural outskirts on 25 January led to martyrdom 3 civilian including a child, and 10 injuries among them 4 children and 3 women.
