Call to participate in march for physical freedom of Leader Ocalan tomorrow

The Popular Initiative in Qamishlo and the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan issued a statement at the headquarters of the former, attended by members of both initiatives, in which they called on the public to take part in the mass demonstration demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The statement was read in Arabic by Suleiman Ahmad, a member of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and in Kurdish by Hevi Ahmad, a member of the Popular Initiative in Qamishlo.

The statement noted that a large-scale demonstration would be organized in Qamishlo tomorrow (June 25) to demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and to raise their voices to public opinion and the world.

It also called on the region’s residents, civil society organizations, the Democratic Autonomous Administration, and local dignitaries to participate in the march, which is scheduled to begin from Osman Sabri Roundabout at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday.
