Bishop of Diocese of Jazira ,al-Furat: Solidarity between components is necessary to confront sedition

In light of the repeated attempts by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to spread sedition and division in the region of northeastern Syria, with the aim of achieving the interests of the occupation at the expense of the stability of the region and the safety of its people. The Bishop of the Diocese of al-Jazira and al-Furat, Mar Maurice Amsih, addressed a message to the peoples of the region in a meeting with our agency.

In his message, Bishop Amsih said: "My love to all Syrians, especially the people of al-Jazira with its various components and sects. My message concerns all the peoples of al-Jazira in light of the difficult stage we are going through. We are approaching a new stage in the life of society, which requires more unity and solidarity from us."

He added: "Love and cooperation between the components of the region are the basis for building a promising future. We must focus on building the human being before building the stone, to strengthen solidarity between us. With this spirit, we can send a message to the world that we, here in al-Jazira, are working together hand in hand for the sake of our region and our people."

Concluding his speech, the Bishop of the Diocese of al-Jazira and al-Furat, Mar Maurice Amsih, said: "The people of the region must be aware at this critical stage, and stand in the face of anyone who tries to spread discord and intrigues that aim to destroy the region. We support unity of ranks, unity of people, and unity of the components of al-Jazira and Syria."

This call comes within the framework of the efforts made to strengthen social and national ties in the face of the challenges and threats facing the region and its peoples.
