Bashir Mulla Nawaf: We must not miss historical opportunity

 Mulla Nawaf warned of the changes occurring in the region, calling on Kurdish parties to reflect on the past and take the right stance regarding the developments in Syria.

 During an interview with ANHAagency, Mulla Nawaf recalled the agreements and historical events that led to the current map of the Middle East, noting that the active players in the changes taking place in Syria have decided to redraw the maps of the region.

 Regarding the Kurdish situation, Mulla Nawaf expressed confidence that a good map for Syria would be established, urging a swift unification of the Kurdish ranks to keep pace with the upcoming changes.

 He also expressed regret over the lack of Kurdish unity over the past 14 years, emphasizing the need for Kurds not to squander the "historical opportunity" by adequately assessing the current situation.

 Mulla Nawaf urged community leaders and nationalists to pressure political parties to take necessary steps, stating, "We are facing a historical responsibility; do not let the next generation curse us."

 He called on all Kurdish entities not to underestimate themselves, affirming that Kurdish areas have done the most serious and intelligent work to protect themselves from massacres, chaos, and destruction.
