Residents of Al-Tala'i neighborhood and Serêkaniyê Camp in the city of Hasakah continue to suffer from smoke and foul odors emanating from a nearby landfill. They are demanding that the dump be relocated away from residential areas, while the People's Municipality has not issued any clarification regarding the complaints or the measures being taken to address the problem. Women journalists are no longer limited to documenting events and covering women's issues; they have gone on to build a media framework that defends women's rights and promotes their participation and presence in both the media and society.

Residents of Shabak village in the countryside of Çil Axa continue to suffer from power outages affecting hundreds of homes since 2023, after one of the main transformers was damaged by a lightning strike. Residents are calling for its prompt repair and the installation of an additional transformer to ease pressure on the electricity network.
