ANHA correspondent covers meeting held by tlKobani Administration in Aleppo

ANHA correspondent shared information on the meeting held by a delegation from the Kobani Administration with officials of Aleppo Governorate in the city of Aleppo.

According to our correspondent, the details of the meeting between the Kobani Administration and Aleppo Governorate officials were as follows:

“We are now at the General Headquarters of the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo. A delegation from the Kobani Administration, which included Farhan Haj Issa, Mazkin Khalil, representatives of Kobani’s institutions, and tribal elders from the Arab tribes forming the region, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo Governorate.

The Kobani Administration delegation was received by a delegation from Aleppo Governorate, which included the Commander of the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo Governorate, Mohammad Abdel Ghani, the Deputy Governor of Aleppo, Ali Hanoura, as well as security officials affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government.

This meeting was held following an agreement reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian Interim Government. Yesterday, a delegation from the city of Kobani visited and held meetings there, and today a delegation from the Autonomous Administration in Kobani headed to Aleppo Governorate. The delegation included several elders from Kobani and civilian figures.

During the meeting, many issues were discussed, including the siege imposed on Kobani, shortages of water, electricity, and internet services, as well as the situation of displaced people and their return to their villages. These files were discussed in detail, and several promises were made to secure services such as water, electricity, and internet.

According to the available information, the meeting was positive. Both sides pledged to work toward building a new Syria and strengthening mutual relations. It was also noted that Kurdish regions had been marginalized under the Baath regime in terms of language, culture, and services, and that these issues would be addressed comprehensively.”
