The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Hasakah said the Alouk water station had resumed pumping water toward Al-Himma station after the fault on the Tabaqa–Al-Abwab power line was repaired.

The station had stopped operating after its electricity supply was cut off due to an emergency fault on the 230-kilovolt Tabaqa–Al-Abwab line, which supplies Hasakah province. The outage also disrupted a number of water stations and wells in the area.

Operations and maintenance crews completed repairs and restored the transmission line to service, bringing electricity back to the province and allowing the Alouk station to resume operations and pump water toward Al-Himma station.
