The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Syrian Interim Government, Asaad Al-Shaibani, arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Murhaf Abu Qasra, and the Head of General Intelligence, Anas Khattab, on the first official visit to discuss prospects for cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

Al-Shaibani announced on Friday that he would make an official visit to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

The visit represents a contribution to supporting stability, security, economic recovery, and building distinguished partnerships, according to his description.
