Al-Hol people stress solidarity of components to face challenges

In a meeting, the people of the city of Al-Hol stressed the importance of all components of NE Syria coming together to confront the challenges they face, especially the Turkish occupation attacks.

Today, the Al-Hol City Council in Al-Jazira Canton organized a mass meeting to shed light on the latest political developments in Syria, in which notables of the region, members of the Autonomous Administration institutions, and the people of the city participated.

The event began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Jazira Canton, Sabri Afrin, gave a speech in which he spoke about the current political developments.

Sabri Afrin highlighted the ongoing violations committed by the Turkish occupation state in Syria. He explained that the occupation is striving to exploit the circumstances that arose after the fall of the Assad regime and the beginning of the formation of a new government, with the aim of creating discord between the Autonomous Administration and the new Syrian government.

Afrin pointed out that the Turkish occupation is still seeking to achieve its expansionist plans and occupy more lands in NE Syria, and seeks to achieve this through military attacks and by sowing discord and division among the components of the Syrian people.

Afrin stressed the importance of adhering to the democratic nation project, noting that it is the ideal solution to the Syrian crisis with all its components and spectrums, and called for strengthening national unity to confront the dangers threatening the region.

During the meeting, the focus was on confronting the plans of the Turkish occupation aimed at fragmenting the unity of Syria, and stressed the importance of strengthening dialogue between the components of the Syrian people to achieve stability, and support the Autonomous Administration and its democratic project as a unifying framework for Syrians.

The meeting concluded with attendees emphasizing the importance of coming together to face challenges and adhering to the principles of Autonomous-Administration to ensure a stable future for NE Syria.
