Airstrikes target Kermanshah, Iranian Cities

The airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel continue for the fifth consecutive day, targeting wide areas in Eastern Kurdistan and inside Iran, including the city of Kermanshah and several other cities.

According to Roj news agency, citing sources, the airstrikes hit military sites and bases as well as headquarters affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, in addition to government and security buildings in several cities, including Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Baneh, Sardasht, Urmia, Qom, Zahedan, Bandar Abbas, Karaj, Javanrud, Tabriz, Saqqez, and Mashhad.

Meanwhile, reports indicated the deployment of Revolutionary Guard members in civilian clothing in some cities of Eastern Kurdistan, such as Bukan, Marivan, and Hawraman, amid tightened security measures and warnings directed at residents against any opposition activity.

According to preliminary information, the proximity of some targeted sites to residential neighborhoods has resulted in civilian casualties, including fatalities and injuries. However, no precise official toll has been released so far, as escalation continues and concerns grow over a widening of the confrontation.
