A humanitarian aid convoy from the Barzani Charity Foundation arrived in the city of Qamishli via the Semalka border crossing, which separates South Kurdistan and Rojava, as part of humanitarian efforts to support displaced and affected people.

The convoy, accompanied by representatives from civil society organizations, includes 67 trucks loaded with food, medical supplies, and blankets. The cargo was unloaded at Azadi Park, and distribution is set to begin tomorrow for forcibly displaced people, as part of efforts to alleviate their suffering and strengthen humanitarian response.

The aid will be distributed in coordination with the Kurdish Red Crescent to ensure it reaches those in need.

It is worth noting that tens of thousands of residents from Afrin and Shahba were displaced following attacks by the Free Syrian Army mercenaries on the cities of Tabqa and Raqqa on January 18, prompting them to move to cities in the Jazira , where they were received and accommodated in various civil institutions, mosques, and schools.
