Afrin: Turkish mercenaries continue to loot olive crops, kidnapping Kurdish citizens

Local websites circulated news on social media about the kidnapping of Kurdish citizens from the countryside of Afrin city by "Military Police" mercenaries yesterday, Wednesday.

The websites said, quoting their local sources, that the kidnapped Kurds are the young man "Omar Muhammad Daoud, 28 years old" from the village of "Qartaqlaq" in the town of Shara, and the citizen "Khalil Youssef Ajk, 32 years old" from the village of "Dika" in the town of Bulbul.

The websites indicated that the young man "Omar Muhammad Daoud" was kidnapped even though he had returned from Lebanon only 3 days ago, while the citizen "Khalil Youssef Ajk" was kidnapped from his home in the Mahmoudiya neighborhood in the city of Afrin, without mentioning the reasons.

Meanwhile, field sources from the town of Mabata and others from the Rajo district revealed that the mercenaries had stolen the olive crops of the indigenous people.

The sources said that the mercenaries had stolen more than 1,300 kg of the olive crop of the citizen "Mannan Izzat" near his field located in the village of "Sheikhoutko" in the city of Mabata.

The sources also indicated that armed mercenaries from the so-called "Al-Sham Corps" had harvested the crop of more than 250 olive trees belonging to the "Daoud" family and 100 trees belonging to the "Sheikhmos Ismail" family, residents of the village of Midan Akbas in the city of Rajo.
