Nearly three thousand families of Afrin displaced people and residents of Tabqa district have fled to Jazira canton as a result of the attacks launched by the Turkish-backed mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government, while displacement from Tabqa city continues.

It is worth mentioning that the displaced people from Afrin and Shahba had sought refuge in Tabqa canton, following attacks launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Shahba canton in October 2024.
