AANES: Turkish attacks hinders counter-terrorism efforts

AANES confirmed that the goal of the Turkish occupation is creating real risks against efforts of combatting “terrorism. and called on the people to commit to defense and self-protection to ensure the achieving of the democratic nation project.

Today, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement to public opinion regarding the ongoing Turkish occupation attacks on the region, the latest of which was in yesterday's midnight:

" The Turkish state continues its criminal policies against our regions. In a context of repeated attacks, the Turkish state attacks vital facilities, services, and infrastructure in areas of Tirbespiyê, Remelan, Derik, and Çil Agha.

The goal of this aggression is also evident in the continuation of the approach of extermination, the displacement of people, and the emptying of the region.

We affirm what is happening has negative repercussions throughout the region and is a free service to help the return of terrorism and an effort to develop ethnic and sectarian conflicts that Turkey has failed to create until now. Turkey's great recklessness in shuffling the cards and a public attempt to capitalize on what is happening in the region regionally towards implementing its goals against our people and its institutions, taking advantage of the events and developments in the region, as well as deceiving Turkish public opinion and directing it towards hypothetical dangers to cover up the failure of the Turkish government internally and its inability to address the internal dilemmas

We call on all active forces in Syria to realize the dangers of this completely unjustified escalation, its negative repercussions, and its significant effects on stability efforts and the humanitarian situation.
