9 Turkish occupation soldiers eliminated in Zap
The People's Defense Forces (HPG) eliminated nine soldiers of the Turkish occupation army during operations carried out in the Zap region, within the Medya D Defense areas in S. Kurdistan.
The HPG's media center issued a statement today regarding the operations conducted in the Zap region against the Turkish occupation army, stating:
"Details of our forces' operations and the Turkish occupation army's attacks are as follows:
Martyr Delil area, west of Zap:
On September 17, at 11:20, our forces targeted the occupation's bulldozer in the resistance area of Bahar Hill with semi-automatic weapons, halting it.
On September 17, at 15:40, our forces targeted the occupiers in the resistance area of Bahar Hill using special techniques, resulting in the killing of six occupiers, the destruction of a grenade launcher, and an ammunition depot.
On September 17, at 17:16, our fighters from the Free Women's Units - Star carried out a special operation against the occupiers who attempted to bomb the resistance tunnels in the resistance area of Judi Hill with prohibited explosives, thwarting their attempt.
On September 17, at 17:35, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.
On September 18, at 17:50, our fighters from the Free Women's Units - Star carried out a special operation against the Turkish occupation soldiers who attempted to advance toward the resistance tunnels at Judi Hill, eliminating two occupiers.
On September 18, at 15:20, our fighters from the Free Women's Units - Star targeted and eliminated a Turkish occupation soldier who attempted to advance toward the resistance tunnels at Amadiya Hill.
On September 18, at 17:50 and 18:40, our forces targeted the occupiers in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.
On September 18, at 20:45, our forces intervened in the occupation's attempt to bomb the resistance tunnels with tanks using semi-automatic weapons, forcing the tank to retreat after our forces' intervention.

On September 18, at 07:00, our forces targeted and shot down a Turkish occupation armed drone in the resistance area of Shelaza.
On September 18, our forces intervened in the Turkish army's attempt to establish a position near the resistance tunnels in the Shelaza area, causing the occupation soldiers to retreat.
Turkish occupation army's use of prohibited weapons:
On September 18, the Turkish occupation army bombed the resistance tunnels in the Shelaza area using a suicide drone.
Turkish occupation army's attacks:
On September 17 and 18, the resistance areas of Barbezn, Sinin, Kandkola, and Koshin in Khakurk were bombed 11 times, the areas of Dêrik, Bilindbaze, Kanî Sark, Khairi, and Sidar in Gari were bombed 9 times, the resistance area of Pêsil in Metina was bombed once, and the areas of Martyr Hewa and Bîbala in Qandil were bombed 6 times by warplanes, bringing the total to 27 airstrikes.
On September 17 and 18, the FM Hill, west of Zap, was bombed twice, and the area of Sari Metina in Metina was bombed twice by attack helicopters.”
