8 mercenaries killed, 4 military vehicles destroyed around Tishrin Dam and Deir Hafer

Today, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public, revealing the outcome of the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the surroundings of Tishrin Dam, southeast of Manbij, and the Deir Hafer front.

The statement read:

"At 11:00 AM yesterday, Monday, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation launched a large-scale attack on a hill in front of the village of Khirbat al-Zamala, near Tishrin Dam, southeast of Manbij. The attack involved six vehicles equipped with DShK machine guns, other armored vehicles, and an additional BMB military vehicle. Clashes erupted between our forces and the mercenaries, lasting until 3:00 PM. The attack was thwarted, resulting in several mercenary casualties. Meanwhile, Martyr Haroun units targeted enemy vehicles and gatherings five times.

On the Syriatel Hill front, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries heavily shelled the area with artillery, but the bombardment caused no damage to our forces. Additionally, Turkish warplanes intensified airstrikes on the surroundings of Tishrin Dam, and artillery shelling continued relentlessly.

For their part, Martyr Haroun units targeted mercenary positions and gatherings 12 times, destroying two military vehicles and striking 10 enemy gatherings.

On the Deir Hafer front, Martyr Haroun units targeted military vehicles four times, including two military trucks and a motorcycle. Meanwhile, a mercenary was killed while attempting to infiltrate our forces' positions in the village of Al-Imam. Drone activity was also observed in the area.

As a result of yesterday’s operations, a total of eight mercenaries were killed, 14 others were wounded, and four military vehicles along with a motorcycle were destroyed."
