The Justice Department announced on Friday that a federal grand jury indicted eight men, aged between 19 and 32, on charges of conspiring to carry out the attack during the MMA event hosted at the White House in June.

According to the department, the indictment includes charges of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to commit murder on federal property, and conspiracy to target U.S. government officials.

Authorities said the alleged plot targeted President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, billionaire Elon Musk, and other prominent American figures.

The FBI said the plan involved using explosive-laden drones alongside snipers positioned to attack attendees. Authorities said they foiled the plot before it could be carried out, and all eight defendants remain in custody.
