During the first week of July, 64 civilians were killed across various Syrian regions due to criminal homicides, armed attacks, stray gunfire, and explosions of war remnants, according to figures documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory reported that 38 civilians were killed in criminal homicides and two by ISIS mercenaries, while six others died from stray bullets or accidental gunfire.

Additionally, three civilians were killed by forces of the Interim Government, and two died in explosions involving war remnants; meanwhile, a bombing targeting the Palace of Justice in Damascus resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians.

These figures reflect the ongoing security challenges facing civilians in various parts of Syria, as casualties continue to mount due to multiple sources of violence and violations.
