A child was killed and three others were injured with varying degrees of wounds due to the explosion of a landmine from the remnants of war near the town of Jababb in the northern countryside of Daraa.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the number of casualties due to landmine explosions from the remnants of war across Syria has reached 67 people.

Clashes also erupted between local armed men from the village of Kherbet al-Maaza in Tartus and the "Public Security Forces affiliated with the Military Operations Administration," after some villagers refused to allow searches of homes in the village, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The same source indicated that the clashes resulted in casualties on both sides and the burning of several vehicles.

Activists circulated on social media platforms filmed scenes showing the clashes and the burning of several cars.
