3 people, including child, killed, others injured in war remnant explosions Syria

Three people, including a child, lost their lives, and others were injured in various Syrian regions due to the explosion of landmines and war remnants.

A resident of the village of Maranaz lost his life when a landmine from the remnants of war exploded while he was plowing his land.

Additionally, a child died from injuries sustained in the explosion of a cluster bomb, a remnant of war, near the Qasimiya farm close to Qubtan al-Jabal in western Aleppo countryside, while three others were injured.

Moreover, a man from the Al-Amour tribe succumbed to injuries he sustained yesterday from shrapnel caused by the explosion of a landmine, a remnant of war, in the Jazl area west of Palmyra in Homs countryside. This brought the total to three martyrs from the same family, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Thus, the number of civilians who have lost their lives since the beginning of 2025 due to explosions caused by remnants of the Syrian war has risen to 34, including six children and two women, in addition to 56 others injured, including 30 children.
