2 celebrations for martyrs' children in Kobani, Qamishlo on April 4th occasion

Kobani

The Kobani celebration, held at the Baqi Khedo Center for Culture and Art with the attendance of dozens of children and families of martyrs, began with holding a minute of silence. This was followed by a speech delivered by Jihan Bozan; the member of the Kobani Martyrs' Families Council, who congratulated the children, the families of martyrs, and all freedom-seeking peoples on the anniversary of the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Jihan Bozan noted that the Kurdish people had moved from darkness to light thanks to the thought and struggle of the leader, and affirmed their continued struggle and resistance until freedom is achieved.

For her part, the child Kawthar Bozi read a message for the occasion, recalling the struggle and the values associated with freedom, justice, and human dignity. She considered the occasion an opportunity to strengthen unity and renew the commitment to continuing the struggle.

The celebration included artistic, musical, and theatrical performances, and concluded with the distribution of sweets to the children.

Qamishlo

In Qamishlo city, a celebration was held in Azadi Park, with the participation of the mothers, fathers, and children of martyrs, as well as members of the Kurdish Red Crescent.

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence. Then, Kluj Othman; the administrator of the Women's Committee of the Martyrs' Families Council congratulated all the peoples of the world, and especially the children, sisters, and brothers of martyrs, on the anniversary of the leader's birth.

A video about leader Abdullah Ocalan was then shown. Afterwards, artist Denish Botan performed a number of revolutionary songs, and The Martyr Bawer Ensemble performed a selection of songs.

Finally, the Kurdish Red Crescent distributed gifts to the children.
