The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that two individuals were killed and one wounded following the Israeli strike, which hit a vehicle on the Jarmak–Khardali road, about 10 kilometers from the Israeli border.

Israel continues to carry out regular strikes in Lebanon, claiming to target Hezbollah positions, despite the ceasefire reached in November 2024. However, Tel Aviv has maintained its forces on five hills in southern Lebanon since the end of the war.

For its part, the United Nations confirmed the deaths of 103 civilians in Lebanon since the announcement of the ceasefire, calling for an end to the humanitarian suffering in the region. Amid US pressure, the Lebanese government last month requested the army to prepare a plan for disarming Hezbollah, whose capabilities have significantly declined following the latest war with Israel.
