2 killed in dispute over agricultural land in Aleppo

Two people were killed and others injured in an armed clash between two groups that erupted over a dispute concerning ownership of agricultural land in the Jabal Badro area on the road to al-Bab in northeastern Aleppo countryside.

According to local sources, an armed clash broke out between two sides in the Jabal Badro area on the road to al-Bab following a dispute over ownership of agricultural land, leaving two people dead and others injured. The exact number of injured remains unknown.

The identities of the two sides involved in the clash, as well as further details about the ownership of the agricultural land at the center of the dispute, remain unknown.

General Security Forces intervened, brought the situation under control and arrested several people from both sides, while efforts continue to prevent renewed clashes.

According to statistics from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the incident brings the number of family and tribal clashes since the beginning of the year to 101, leaving 89 people dead and 184 others injured, including 176 men, seven women and one child.
