The Syrian city of Jarabulus, occupied by Turkey, witnessed a confrontation between the al-Dakatirat and al-Jissat tribes last night, stemming from an old tribal dispute, according to local residents.

The fighting began when members of the al-Dakatirat tribe killed a young man named Mohammed Ali Al-Wais, from the Jissat tribe, near the city’s high school.

In retaliation, members of the al-Jissat tribe opened fire on a young man and his father from the al-Dakatirat tribe, resulting in the death of the young man and injuries to his father. Their names have not been confirmed.

According to available information, the city of Jarabulus and its surrounding areas are still experiencing security tensions between the two sides, with Turkish mercenaries deployed in residential neighborhoods.
