17 mercenaries killed, 21 others injured, including 4 Turkish occupation soldiers

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement to the public, revealing details of special operations carried out as part of their legitimate response to the Turkish occupation's attacks.

The statement read:

"Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, continue their resistance within the framework of legitimate retaliation against the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries across all frontlines in the regions of North and East Syria.

In the early hours of yesterday morning, Friday, the Turkish occupation shelled the surroundings of Tishrin Dam and nearby villages with heavy artillery. At 1:30 p.m., the mercenaries launched an attack on the frontlines of the village of 'Atshana' and the hill in front of the village of 'Khirbat al-Zamala.' Our fighters repelled the attack, damaging a military vehicle, forcing the mercenaries to retreat and withdraw. Meanwhile, the Turkish occupation heavily shelled the area with artillery, continuing the bombardment for hours even after the mercenaries fled.

Our fighters also carried out a special operation against the mercenaries in the Abu Qalqal axis. The Martyr Haroun units targeted gatherings of mercenaries and their military vehicles, resulting in the killing of 17 mercenaries and the injury of 21 others, including 4 Turkish occupation soldiers. Additionally, 3 armored military vehicles were destroyed. Drone activity was observed intensively over the area.

During this operation, one of our fighters was martyred.

Furthermore, the Deir Hafir front witnessed continuous drone activity by the Turkish occupation. The Martyr Haroun units targeted and completely destroyed a Toyota military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries. Meanwhile, the mercenaries launched two suicide drone attacks on our fighters' positions, but they caused no damage."
