KJK confirms that global campaign demonstrated the scientific influence of Ocalan's ideology

The Kurdistan Women's Organization (KJK) issued a written statement in which it saluted the campaigns that were held in many countries of the world on October 10, for the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

It stated in its text:

Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained inside a solitary cell in Imrali prison for 25 years. We congratulate all the friends who participated in the campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan and finding a political solution to the Kurdish issue,” as this organized campaign was scheduled to take place in 74 centers around the world. On October 10, but it took place in more than 100 centers, and as the Kurdish Women’s Movement, we salute women for assuming the leadership role in this campaign that took place simultaneously in many places in the world, including Bangladesh, Tokyo, India, Kenya, South Africa, Latin America and Europe, and for their participation in statements and protest campaigns conducted by women alone in many places.

We would also like to emphasize that this global campaign for freedom that took place against the international conspiracy provided great strength and support for both the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and finding a political solution to the Kurdish issue, and we believe that these campaigns will resolve the outcome of this process with success.

The events that took place around the world demonstrated the global influence of Leader Ocalan’s thought and philosophy, and the importance of international solidarity with oppressed peoples, women, and anti-regime forces. There was heavy participation from various groups and segments, especially by leftists, socialists, anti-capitalists, environmentalists, anarchists, and women.

These events created an example of the organized struggle of women and oppressed peoples, and as we continue to strengthen, expand and develop this great solidarity and unity on which the foundations were built, there will be a firm stance against wars, genocide, fascism, sexism, racism, environmental destruction and climate problems. We consider the events that took place as a step Important in directing the global stance against the centers of power and male hegemony.

The isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan turned into a genocidal attack against all Kurds, as civilian areas in Rojava and the Kurdistan region were bombed, and civilians, women, children, the elderly, and defense forces were killed, during which women and children were also injured by the continuous bombing of civilian homes and places of worship in the Makhmour camp.   The Kurdish people will not back down from their struggle through genocidal attacks, and at this stage we affirm our standing by our people residing in Makhmour and send our wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.

We salute all the friends of the Kurdish people who participated in the activities organized within the framework of the campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan and finding a political solution to the Kurdish issue.” At a time when our world is shaking because of the dirty and barbaric wars launched by governments, your voices, demands, and messages of solidarity with a democratic, humanitarian essence and the universal and enlightening humanity has created hope in building a world where freedom prevails.

We also hope that these campaigns will constitute a model for the struggle against capitalism, leading to stronger meetings and a means to stop the march of the barbaric capitalist system, and we say that the resistance of Leader Ocalan, which represents our struggle and the resistance of all of us, will certainly triumph through the strength of our common struggle.
