The Deputy co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria AANES, Gabriel Chamoun, confirmed that the Turkish occupation state seeks to attack the model of AANES, stability, security, and complete control over the region and occupy Syrian lands.

Gabriel Chamoun explained: "The silence of international powers is the result of common international interests with Turkey, which come against the interests of the Autonomous Administration and against the people of the region who yearn for freedom, progress and prosperity in our regions and in all parts of Syria."

Chamoun pointed out that the Autonomous Administration project for all of Syria is a project for a political solution in Syria, and he said: “Therefore, the international powers must reconsider their policies towards the region, and reconsider their interests with the Turkish occupation state that aims to destroy the region in general.”

Chamoun revealed: “Whenever the Turkish occupation state launches its attacks on the region, the movement of ISIS mercenaries in prisons increases, in addition to the movement of ISIS cells in the region, and their attempts to free the detained mercenaries.”

Chamoun touched on the damage to the infrastructure in NE, Syria as a result of the Turkish attacks, and said: “The damage is great and irreparable; and in the current circumstances we cannot bring the pieces that were destroyed as a result of the Turkish bombing, such as cutting off the transfer stations, which increases the burden on the shoulders of the Autonomous Administration.” “We can say that the disaster is great.”

Chamoun noted that: “Targeting these important facilities is targeting the livelihood of citizens in NE, Syria, and the economic stability in the region, because the Autonomous Administration’s resources are oil, gas, and agriculture, and all of these facilities were targeted by the Turkish occupation with the aim of turning the street against the Autonomous Administration.”
