​​​​​​​SDF Commander: We are ready to repel any Turkish attack

In response to the Turkish attacks and as part of its defense of the region, the Syrian Democratic Forces targeted a number of bases of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries near Ain Issa district.

The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Djawar Raqqa, in the Ain Issa district, explained: “Recently, civilian areas and villages in Girê Spi district were subjected to a fierce attack by the Turkish occupier and its mercenaries, in which all types of heavy weapons were used, including artillery and tanks, in addition to drones and warplanes. Which led to the death of a woman and the injury of her husband in the village of Khalidiya.”

Djawar Raqqa confirmed that: "The Turkish occupier deliberately targeted service facilities such as water and electricity stations to harm the lives of residents."

The commander revealed that, as part of defending the region, against the Turkish attacks and bombing that directly targeted civilians and caused their martyrdom and damage to their homes, they responded to the sources of the bombing by targeting the Turkish army bases and points of its mercenaries near Ain Issa district, and during the response 6 occupation soldiers were killed. The Turk and 7 others were injured, in addition to the killing of a mercenary and the injury of 5 others.

Leader Dajwar Raqqa confirmed that they are ready to repel any Turkish attack targeting their areas, and pledged to the Syrian people that they will be the fortified shield to repel any attacks and thwart Turkey's plans to occupy Syrian lands.
