SDF unveils toll of Turkish occupation attacks on NE, Syria within 24 hours

Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement revealing the outcome of the Turkish occupation attacks on NE, Syria yesterday, which stated:

"The Turkish occupation continued its treacherous attacks and assaults on various  regions in NE, Syria, for the fourth day in a row, using warplanes and heavy weapons, causing more injuries and losses to vital installations and infrastructure.

The outcome of the fourth day of attacks was as follows:

Number of times they were targeted with artillery and mortar shells: 31 times.

- Number of military aircraft raids: two.

Number of shells that fell: 55 shells, including 29 heavy artillery shells.

- Number of times we were targeted with Dushka weapons: once.

- Number of military points that were targeted: /3/ points.

- Number of injured civilians: one civilian.

- Number of facilities that were targeted: one oil tank.

The details were as follows:

Derik city and its countryside:

At exactly 6:00 p.m., the Turkish occupation targeted with 7 mortar shells the village of “Kardmiyeh,” located on the border line and belonging to the city of “Derik.” It also targeted the village of “Ain Diwar” with 10 mortar shells, as the shells fell in agricultural land and did not cause any damage.

At (22:30), the Turkish occupation warplanes launched an air strike targeting the Martyr Nisreen Academy for the Internal Security Forces in the village of Hamza Bey, 15 km south of the city of Derik. The targeting resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of members Internal Security Forces, they were taken to hospitals.

- Manbij city and its countryside:

At (23:15), the Turkish occupation targeted the front line in Manbij, bombing the villages of “Sayida, Al-Hawshariyah, Al-Tokhar, Qurt Wiran, Aoun Al-Dadat, and Umm Jalud” with 13 heavy artillery and mortar shells, which did not result in damage.

- Ain Issa town and its countryside:

At (22:49), the Turkish occupation targeted civilian homes in the town of Ain Issa with heavy artillery shells.

At 23:00, the Turkish occupation targeted Ain Issa camp with Dushka weapons.

At (22:42), the Turkish occupation targeted our force points on the Ain Issa front with heavy artillery shells, bombing them with 4 mortar shells and 3 heavy artillery shells.

  At 21:45, the Turkish occupation targeted the following villages with artillery shells:

“Hushan” village, with 4 artillery shells.

“Khalidiya” village with two artillery shells.

A military point with 4 shells.

- The city of Kobani and its countryside:

  At 22:30, the Turkish occupation targeted the villages of “Kharbisan and Jishan” with 4 heavy artillery shells.

At 22:15, the Turkish occupation targeted the villages of the western countryside of Kobani, as follows:

“Tal Shair” village by a mortar shell.

“Salim” village by a mortar shell.

“Kharkhari” village by a mortar shell.

“Jalakhi” village, also hit by a mortar shell.

At 23:00, the Turkish occupation targeted the village of “Zor Maghar” with a mortar shell.

The bombing of the villages of Kobani did not cause any damage.

Qamishlo city and its countryside:

At 22:27, the Turkish occupation warplanes launched an air strike on an oil tank south of the town of Tirbe Spiyeh, which is located 3 km away from it. The bombing resulted in a civilian being injured and material damage.

At (22:35), the Turkish occupation targeted with mortar shells the village of “Tel Ziwan”, located between the villages of “Tel Kayf” and “Doban”, 6 km east of the city of Qamishli, but the shells fell on agricultural lands.

At (00:35), the Turkish occupation targeted with mortar shells the village of “Haram al-Sheikh,” 11 km west of the city of Qamishli. The bombing did not result in any damage.

- The city of Amuda and its countryside:

At (23:30), the Turkish occupation targeted with mortar shells the town of “Zerghan” and the following villages, “Al-Mushairfa, Tal Harmal, and the village of Al-Rubaiyat,” and the bombing did not result in any damage.”
