Once again, in its response to Turkish attacks; SDF killed 7 soldiers, including an officer

The outcome of the operations of the Syrian Democratic Forces during the past three days was revealed during a statement published by the forces’ media center on its official website, today (October 8).

The statement, as published by the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces on its official website, stated the following:

“Within the framework of their right to a legitimate response, our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, responded to the attacks and assaults of the Turkish occupation with a number of specific and focused operations, inflicting heavy losses on the ranks of the Turkish occupation forces.

The outcome of our forces’ operations during the past three days was as follows:

At exactly 21:00 on Friday evening, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation bases in the villages of “Al-Yabisa, Abdouki, Sidon, Jamajim, Tineh, and Mazraa” in the Tal Abyad countryside, resulting in the killing of 3 Turkish occupation soldiers at the “Al-Yabisa” base. Among them was an officer, in addition to three other soldiers being wounded. Two Turkish occupation soldiers were also killed at the “Abduki” base and three others were wounded, while one mercenary was killed and 5 others were wounded in targeting the “Al-Mazraa” base of the Turkish occupation.

The result of targeting the Turkish occupation base in the “Jamajim and Saiyda” bases is not known.

While heavy weapons were caused by the Turkish occupation forces in their bases spread around Ain Issa, after concentrated attacks by our forces.

At exactly 14:00 yesterday, Saturday, October 7, our forces deployed in Ain Issa and its countryside targeted a Turkish occupation base in the village of Taybah. The exact results of the targeting were not known, while another Turkish occupation base was targeted in the village of “Mardouda.” It resulted in the death of a Turkish occupation soldier and the serious injury of another.

The toll of losses of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries was as follows:

The number of Turkish occupation soldiers killed: 6 soldiers, including an officer.

- Number of wounded Turkish occupation soldiers: /7/ soldiers.

- Number of mercenaries killed: one mercenary.

- Number of mercenaries wounded: /5/ mercenaries.

Our forces affirm that they will not tolerate the attacks and assaults of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on our regions, and will exercise their legitimate right to respond to them, within the framework of the self-defense policy guaranteed by all international laws and legislation.”
