The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria confirmed that the Turkish occupation attacks exacerbate the humanitarian and living situation in NE Syria and hinder the international solutions in Syria, including Resolution 2254 of 2015.

Today, the Department of Foreign Relations held a press conference at its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo in the presence and coverage of local, Arab and international media, about the Turkish occupation attacks on NE Syria.

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Samar Al-Abdullah.

The text of the statement read:

“The Turkish state bets on policies of extermination, displacement, and destruction, and practices absolute support for terrorism and the forces that call themselves political and affiliated with the Syrians, and are nothing but a tool to legitimize Turkey’s aforementioned policies in Syria. After the failure of the Turkish project in Syria."

For years, it has been striking our regions and targeting them to undermine the will of its people and components. Since 2015, with the beginning of the defeat of ISIS, Turkey began using various types of weapons, including incendiary napalm, and contributed to supporting the extremists who fled to Turkey after the defeat of ISIS, so it recruited them under other names."

"Since the fourth of this month, Turkey has been targeting vital installations, civilian places, oil and electricity stations, hospitals, water stations, and camps without any international or even moral deterrence.

" The Turkish aggression carried out more than 40 air strikes with 30 drones, in addition to targeting all regions of NE Syria with warplanes and targeting populated areas with heavy weapons.

The targeted areas are:

1- Hasakah camp and the residential areas around it.

2- Al-Hamma station in Hasaka which supplies water to Hasaka and its countryside, as well as the water station in the village of Al-Rakba between Hasaka and Tal Tamr.

3- Çil Agha Dam.

4- The village of Tal Habash in Amuda, the villages of Al-Tawila and the villages of Al-Dardara in Tal Tamr and Tal Juma, which led to casualties from the Syriac component and artillery shelling on Um Al-Khair in the same area, as well as the villages of West Sarrin in Kobani.

5- Oil sites, including Kardahol, Al Qaws, and Sikirka station, as well as Saeeda station, Al-Zaraba, and Al-Awda field in Tirbespiyê.

6- The Al Suwaydiya vital gas facility, the electricity feeding station at the Western Dam in Hasaka which feeds large parts of Hasaka, and the electricity station in Qamishlo, as well as the electricity transfer station in Tirbespiyê and the Amuda station, which feeds Darbasiyah electricity.

7- Construction sites in Qamishlo and Karbawi, and bombing of the Rumailan, in addition to targeting the Ziwana area in Al-Shahba, 8 villages in Sherwa and Shara in Afrin, areas in Tal Rifaat and villages in the Ain Issa countryside with machine guns in parallel with drones on the Al-Jazera areas. Mount Ghazwan was also targeted with four missiles by military aircraft. As well as areas of Derik, Amuda Silos, and Mashta Nour in Kobani.

The service sectors were damaged, and some sites, including oil, were subjected to several strikes, which led to them being out of service, as well as the vicinity of some hospitals that were designated for Covid-19 and now provide services and health support to the people.

These attacks also resulted in martyrs and injuries, as the initial toll reached 15 people, including 8 civilians, 6 from the Internal Security Forces - Asayish, and a fighter from the Syrian Democratic Forces were martyred, 10 wounded, including 8 civilians, including a child, and two from the Internal Security Forces.
