Issa added: “ the heinous crime that occurred in the past hours at the graduation ceremony of a batch of Syrian officers in the presence of their civilian families, which left dozens of civilian and military deaths, cannot be ignored.

Issa pointed out that there is no objective stance regarding the Turkish war machine that has invaded Syrian airspace with dozens of drones in an area whose residents do not have the means of protection from such dangers.

Issa continued: “In addition to targeting Iraqi lands and the repeated invasions and occupations of Syrian lands, and then in Iraq and intervening to occupy lands in Libya, Somalia, and Sudan, and threatening Greece and Cyprus, all those are truly a challenges to stability and global peace."

Issa stressed that “the international community, with its governments and civil society institutions must wake up to confront this danger. The new terrorist Islamic Ottomanism will not stop at the borders of Somalia, but Tunisia and Morocco. Therefore, I see that the duty of vigilant democratic countries and societies to shoulder their responsibilities to stop this monster (Turkish occupation) which has a dark and creative history of violating the dignity of peoples.”
