Deir ez-Zor's mass meetings are fruitful

After the completion of the process of " Security Enhancement" in its military phase, which was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on August 27, and while it continued security-wise, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria organized a series of meetings with the people of the region, its intellectuals, and the sheikhs and notables of its tribes, with the aim of developing a plan to advance the service and organizational reality of Deir ez-Zor.

Deputy co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, Hassan Kojer, explained to ANHA's agency: “After the process of "Security Enhancement" and establishing security and stability in Deir ez-Zor, we held a series of meetings with the people, tribal sheikhs and notables, intellectuals, communes, and councils in general, and these meetings were fruitful.”

Hassan Kojer stated that they discussed during the meetings held the extent of the seriousness of the games played by the Damascus government in the name of what is known as the “tribal army,” to destabilize security and stability in the region and create a Kurdish-Arab conflict. He said: “The biggest goal was to create an Arab-Kurdish conflict in all regions of NE, Syria.

Kojer revealed their focus on two basic items during the meetings held in Deir ez-Zor, the dangers of the games and policies being hatched against Syria in general and Deir ez-Zor in particular. He noted: "Among them is the Astana meeting, the results of which were reflected in Deir ez-Zor. The goal is primarily to destabilize security and stability in the region, and to create a Kurdish-Arab conflict."

Structure of the civil and military administrative system

Kojer noted: “During the meetings, we discussed how to restructure the administrative system from the commune to the councils and departments, reaching the legislative and military council.”

Kojer said: “All the residents’ demands were compatible with each other, including services, structuring, and reorganizing departments.”

Hassan Kojar stated: “The meetings focused on developing and supporting the service reality in Deir ez-Zor, including municipalities, health, and bakeries, and how to develop service work, and fighting people who use the administration’s powers for their personal benefit, in addition to building very strong oversight to complete work to the fullest extent in a way that serves the people of Deir ez-Zor.”

Regarding the demands of the people of Deir ez-Zor, Kojer explained: “The people of Deir ez-Zor demanded during the meetings to support the internal security forces and organize them more to protect the people from the threats they are exposed to, which come from groups that are trying to destabilize security in the region.”

Hassan Kojer confirmed: “Our goal is the same. We agreed on several points, the most important of which is the structuring of civil and military institutions.”

A general meeting for the regions of Deir ez-Zor

In his speech, Hassan Kojer revealed preparations to hold a general meeting for all regions of Deir ez-Zor, and said: “During which we will comfortably discuss the proposals that were put forward in the recent meetings. The opinions and suggestions of the people are very important for the Autonomous Administration and we will discuss them in detail, and there will be outcomes from this meeting to work on.”

Hassan Kojer praised the role of the people of Deir ez-Zor in preserving their councils, municipalities and institutions, and said: "We will rebuild the institutions that were damaged as a result of acts of sabotage by some mercenaries."
