Electricity outage to service institutions and hospitals in Qamishlo- Amuda due toTurkish bombing

The Qamishlo and Amuda stations were out of service as a result of the Turkish bombing, causing a power outage to most service institutions and the neighborhoods of the city of Qamishlo and the Amuda district.

This afternoon, a Turkish occupation state drone bombed the northern electricity station (the second power transformer of the northern station) in the city of Qamishlo, which supplied most of the city’s neighborhoods and vital facilities through 16 outlets within two transformers.

According to the Electricity Department in the city of Qamishlo, one of the transformers in the station was generally out of service, and the other was partially damaged as a result of the bombing, which led to a power outage to the two stations (Awija and Jaqjaq water stations), the silos and Jazira Mill in Qamishlo, the Heart and Eyes Hospital, and 6 other hospitals. And the two automatic bakeries in Qamishlo, in addition to tens of thousands of people’s homes in the city.

As for Amuda, where the district's main power station was also bombed, all service institutions and the city's neighborhoods and affiliated villages will be affected by the power outage.+
