Saleh Muslim: resistance of region' people will win

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Saleh Muslim, spoke to ANHA agency about the Turkish occupation state’s continuing attacks on NE Syria, and its targeting of the region’s infrastructure.

Muslim stated that the attacks are part of the plan to exterminate the Kurdish people, and said: "The Turkish state’s attacks on the Kurds have been continuing for 8 years without interruption, and today’s attacks are part of this plan, but they have never won and will not be able to exterminate the Kurds, and the attacks that Rojava is being subjected to, targets all Kurds".

Muslim pointed out that the Turkish occupation state creates weak pretexts to launch attacks:“it is now using the Ankara operation as an excuse, and Hakan Fidan previously said: We can launch several missiles from Syria to Turkey and use them as a pretext for war. What happened in Ankara has nothing to do with Rojava. All international powers are aware of this. Turkey’s attacks on various parts of NE Syria have not stopped since yesterday, and this is a crime against humanity".

Muslim described the silence of the international powers regarding the attacks as shameful and said: “It is time for the international powers to put an end to the brutality of the Turkish state and close airspace to it. This mentality of the Turkish state poses a danger to the entire Middle East and the entire world".

Saleh Muslim concluded his speech by emphasizing the struggle, and stated that the resistance of the people of the region will win.
