Mazloum Abdi: perpetrators of the Ankara attack did not pass through our regions

This came in the text of a statement published on the official account of the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, on the (X) platform, in response to the allegations of the Turkish occupation Interior Ministry that the perpetrators of the Ankara attack entered Turkish territory through Syria.

The text of the statement stated:

 “The perpetrators of the Ankara attack did not pass through our regions as Turkish officials claim, and we are not a party to the Turkish internal conflict, and we do not encourage its escalation.

Turkey is looking for pretexts to legitimize its ongoing attacks on our regions and launch a new aggression, and this is what raises our deep concern.

Targeting the infrastructure and economic resources of the region and populated cities is a war crime, and we have witnessed it before.

For this reason, we urge the guarantor parties and the international community to take appropriate positions regarding these recurring threats and ensure peace and stability in the region.”
