Egyptian experts: What Ocalan is exposed to exposes the lies; hypocrisy of international powers

The arbitrary practices by the Turkish fascist authorities against the leader Abdullah Ocalan continue amid complete silence from the international powers, the international community and its organizations.

Hani al-Gamal, a researcher in regional and international affairs, believes that “the world is witnessing a state of political turmoil that will result in many political and strategic transformations, whether at the global, regional or national level.”

He told ANHA's agency: “In light of these changes and conflicts, the arrest of Leader Abdullah Ocalan remains a black scar on the white dress of freedom, which many international and regional humanitarian organizations rant about, which express their anger if some of the followers of the major political regimes are subjected to any criticism or curtailment of his freedom or their freedom. This is the opposite of what is happening with the historical leader of the Kurds, Abdullah Ocalan, who is subjected to stifling isolation, not only for his body but for his thoughts.”

He pointed out that "there is more than one country that conspired against Leader Ocalan because his arrest is of benefit to them, as his ideology represents a danger and an obstacle to achieving its ambitions and imposing its capitalist and tyrannical policies that were planning to control the Middle East."

  According to al-Gamal, “The most severe types of psychological and physical torture were inflicted on Leader Ocalan, his lawyer was prevented from meeting with him, and even health organizations were prevented from visiting him in Imrali prison. However, his thought spread widely, not only in the Middle East but throughout the world.”

He pointed out that "the violations and restrictions that Ocalan is subjected to are an attempt to prevent oppressed peoples from learning about his idea to achieve freedom and democracy," considering that "the thought of leader Abdullah Ocalan is a unique experience that succeeded in ensuring the stability of the Kurdish regions, which infuriated Turkey, which began to fight the Democratic Party project because its attempts to suppress this ideology have failed.”

Fear of Ocalan

Regarding the secret of international silence regarding the violations committed against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the researcher confirms that “there are many European countries alongside America that have participated in the international conspiracy against Leader Ocalan, and therefore these countries remain silent about what he is being subjected to because he fought capitalist and authoritarian regimes and always It defends oppressed and oppressed peoples, and this does not please the regimes that take the capitalist system as their basis, so we see them today silent regarding the strict isolation, even though they claim to defend human rights, but since the arrest of Leader Ocalan, they have not done anything, and this has had a negative impact on human rights organizations, as they do not It does its job and did not provide anything to the Kurdish people during the years of war, and this is what it does with various crises because these human rights and humanitarian organizations are politicized and affiliated with the countries conspiring against Leader Ocalan.”

He continued, "There are fears among these regimes regarding the release of Leader Abdullah Ocalan because his project may be a solution to many of the outstanding problems in the Middle East. Therefore, the international conspiracy against Leader Ocalan came to control the capabilities of the peoples aspiring to freedom, and from here, the peoples must be an incubating environment." To the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and to seek his release without relying on the international community and politicized humanitarian organizations, but rather betting on peoples yearning for freedom and civil society organizations that express the movement and the collective mind to be one hand until the release of Leader Ocalan and other freedom fighters against capitalist policies.”

Hypocrisy of the international community

In his turn, the Executive Director of the Egyptian Arab Council for Human Rights, Osama Shams, believes that "the violations committed by Turkey against Ocalan represent the greatest violation of the idea of human rights in the first place. How can a man over seventy be imprisoned in solitary confinement while deprived of meeting his family and relatives or meeting with his lawyer?"

He told ANHA's agency, "Turkey's human rights record has become full of violations, whether against political opponents, activists, or bloggers, denouncing the suspicious silence of the international community regarding the practices of the Erdogan regime."

He pointed out that "there is no explanation for the international silence regarding what is happening to Ocalan in Imrali prison in Turkey except that there is a common interest that brings together the Turkish regime and the major countries that benefit from Ocalan's exclusion and absence from the scene."

The human rights activist believes that "the violations that Ocalan is being subjected to reveal the lies and hypocrisy of the international community. Instead of everyone taking action to release the man and honor him for his philosophy and ideas calling for harmony and peace among all peoples and components of the Middle East, a blind eye is turned to the violations he is being exposed to, which is considered implicit approval." “What Turkey is committing against him confirms that the major powers do not want peace or stability for the region as they claim, but rather want to keep the situation burning and spread strife and conflicts among the people of the region.”

He pointed out that “the West, which is behind supporting the war in Sudan, plundering Africa’s wealth, and supporting armed groups in the Middle East, will not allow Ocalan’s ideas, with their call for peace, brotherhood and co-existence among all components, to spread and prevail, especially since they threaten their strategy of controlling the region, and thus we should not expect a positive position from the international community nor international human rights organizations towards the Ocalan case.”

The Egyptian activist stressed that "the path to Ocalan's freedom begins with spreading his ideas, informing the world about his cause, talking about him in the media, providing summaries of his arguments, and organizing popular events to defend him and expose violations against him."
