People of Al-Jazera protest against leader's isolation, Turkish occupation
The people of Al-Jazera expressed their rejection of leader Ocalan's isolation, occupation attacks, and cooperation with the occupiers, by holding mass meetings, setting up tents, going out in massive marches, and making statements.
The Popular Initiative for Al-Jazera region issued a program that includes a series of activities to protest the torture regime in Imrali, the occupation attacks that the Turkish occupation continues to launch on all of the defense regions and NE Syria, in addition to the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s cooperation with the occupiers.
According to the program, which began on September 10, tents are being set up and marches are organized, and in the context of preparing for these events, mass meetings are being held in various neighborhoods, and these meetings address; The strict isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Turkish occupation attacks and the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s cooperation with the Turkish occupation state, highlight the importance of popular unity and joint struggle and defense against all filthy plans, attacks and cooperation.

In the context of the program issued in the first week of September, Derik, Qamishlo, Darbasiyeh and Hasaka witnessed mass marches and tent installation events. On the 10th of this month, a tent was installed in Derik and the event continued for two days, while hundreds of people of Al-Jazera went out in a massive march was organized on the 11th of the month.
On Saturday (September 16), a tent was set up in Al-Darbasiyah, and the event will conclude with a mass march that will be held today. The march will begin at 17:00 and hundreds of citizens from various surrounding villages and towns are expected to participate.
Qamishlo is preparing for the events of September 23-24

It is expected to set up a tent in Qamishlo on the 23rd of the month and to go out in a massive march on the following day, that is, on the 24th of the month. In light of the preparation for these two events, mass meetings will be held in various neighborhoods of the city, as they have been held so far in Al-Gharbi neighborhood, Kadorbek, Antareya, Corniche and Al-Hilalia, and it is expected to be held in the various villages and towns affiliated with it, where the meetings attended by hundreds of people call for participation in the march that will be held on the 24th of this month.
The tent will be installed at the March 12 Stadium on the 23rd of this month, while the march will begin on the 24th of the same month, with the participation of the people of the towns of Tal Brak, Tal Hamis and the districts of Tirbespiyeh and Amuda.
Hasaka events September 26-27
The program will conclude with two events in Hasaka, where a tent will be set up on the 26th of the month and a march will be taken out on the 27th of the month. In this context, the city is witnessing preparations and invitations to participate in the two events.
