People of Raqqa renew their support for SDF

The people of Raqqa confirmed that they stand by the Syrian Democratic Forces and support them to repel all conspiracies that aim to destabilize the security and stability of the region, and called on all the people to rally around their forces.

The residents spoke during their participation in a massive march in which the people of the city of Raqqa and its countryside, and members of civil institutions in Raqqa, came out yesterday in appreciation of the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Forces to establish safety in the region.

Deputy President of the Raqqa Civil Council, Abdul Salam Hamsourk, confirmed: “We will stand by our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, which liberated the region from terrorism and established security and stability through the “Security Enhancement” operation in Deir ez-Zor.”

He added: "The Syrian Democratic Forces launched the operation to pursue ISIS mercenary cells, drug traffickers and bandits in response to the call of our people in Deir ez-Zor."

The member of the General Council in the city of Raqqa, Izz al-Din Sheikho, said, "The people of Raqqa will not accept anything other than the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we stand in the face of the conspiracy hatched by the Syrian regime and Turkish intelligence."

He added, "The Syrian Democratic Forces are the only way to deter all terrorist plans being hatched against NE Syria, and they will stand in the face of parties seeking to spread discord among the components to destabilize the region."

For his part, the co-chair of the General Council in the city of Raqqa, Louay Al-Issa, appreciated the sacrifices of the Syrian Democratic Forces and their victory in SDF's security operation.

He stressed, "The Syrian Democratic Forces represent us as the people of the city of Raqqa and the tribesmen, and we call on all the people to rally around SDF to repel all international conspiracies against the region."
