Deaths and injuries as a result of Israeli strikes on Damascus government areas

Yesterday, Israel resumed targeting areas of the Damascus government, and explosions sounded in the Hama countryside as a result of the targeting of the scientific research center in mountain the village of Taqsis in the Hama countryside, without information being received yet about human losses, according to what the Syrian Observatory reported.

The Syrian Observatory indicated that Israel targeted the countryside of Tartous, and that trucks belonging to the Lebanese “Hezbollah” entered Syria coming from the illegal crossings with Lebanon, yesterday evening, and the trucks arrived at warehouses within an “air defense” base near the villages of Al-Jamasa and Deir Al-Hajar in the countryside of Tartous, which Hezbollah uses to collect weapons and transport them to the Lebanese side, while Israel targeted those warehouses.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 3 soldiers were killed, 2 of Syrian nationality, and the third is still unidentified, as a result of Israeli strikes on weapons depots belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah near the villages of Al-Jamasa and Deir Al-Hajar.

8 others, including 5 air defense officers, were injured as a result of targeting the air defense base in the village of Karto, 10 kilometers away from the first targeting site.

Meanwhile, an agency affiliated with the Damascus government quoted a military source as saying, “At exactly 5:22 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the Israeli enemy carried out an aggression with missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, targeting some of our air defense sites in Tartous".

The source added: The aggression "led to the martyrdom of 2 soldiers, the wounding of 6 others, and some material losses".

Later, at around 10:40, the Israeli enemy “renewed its air aggression from the direction of northern Lebanon, targeting some points in the vicinity of Hama, which led to some material losses".
