Intensifying efforts to support Deir ez-Zor is one of AANES's top priorities

A delegation from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria visited the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration of Deir ez-Zor. In the first official visit of the joint presidency to Deir ez-Zor, following what the region has witnessed since last August 27.

The visiting delegation included the co-presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Berivan Khaled and Hussein Othman, the two deputies of the co-presidency, Amina Osi and Hamdan Al-Abd, and the co-chair of the Defense Office in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Bayan Al-Ali.

According to the official website of AANES, the aim of the visit is to review the future work mechanism, discuss the rehabilitation of what was damaged, and develop a new work plan.

In addition to discussing the latest field developments in organizational work in the region, and the assessment of the joint presidency of the Democratic Civil Administration of Deir ez-Zor of the current reality in the city, the Civil Administration of Deir ez-Zor presented a number of demands that must be addressed in order to keep pace with the current stage, including financial support and rehabilitation of the centers that damaged by “intruder criminal groups.”

As well as focusing on improving services, providing fuel, developing health facilities, improving the educational sector, and supporting agriculture and the farmers of Deir ez-Zor.

The delegation of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria confirmed the intensification of support and work at the highest pace to rehabilitate the facilities and infrastructure recently damaged by saboteurs.

Participants in the meeting said that what was presented by the Democratic Civil Administration of Deir ez-Zor was placed in the priorities of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
