Notables of Al-Hol tribes: Arab, Kurdish tribes confirmed their support for SDF forces

The tribal notables of Al-Hol district in Hasaka Canton made a statement to public opinion, which was read in front of the headquarters of the Democratic Union Party in the district by the notable of the Al-Hayb clan, Ahmed Hussein.

Hussein stressed: “The Syrian Democratic Forces proved that they are professional forces, as the outlaws tried to drag our forces into using excessive force, but they adopted the method of dialogue with the sheikhs and notables of Deir ez-Zor in order to eliminate the strife.”

The text of the statement read:

“With regard to the recent events that took place in Deir ez-Zor on the twenty-seventh of August, and in response to the demands of the sheikhs and notables of Deir ez-Zor, the Syrian Democratic Forces launched "Security Enhancement" campaign to pursue ISIS cells and outlaws of  the so-called Ahmed Al-Khabil (Abu Khawla), who attacked tribal symbols, opened smuggling routes and corridors, and established his connection with external parties, which became known far and wide, led by the Turkish occupation states and Iranian militias to distort the goal of the “ Security Enhancement” campaign which was portrayed as a fight between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Arab tribes, in order to serve external agendas for Syrian regime and the Iranian militias, but all of their attempts failed because they collided with popular solidarity with the Syrian forces that include all components of our people: Arabs, Kurds, and Syriacs.

The Arab-Kurdish tribes have confirmed their cohesion and rally around our forces, which confirms the alertness of our people to the plans and conspiracies directed against them.

We at the al- Hol district, tribal sheikhs, notables, and intellectuals, confirm our full support for our sons and daughters in the SDF, the People’s Protection Units, and the Women’s Protection Units, and we call on our people in Deir ez-Zor not to be drawn into the sedition sought by the enemies of the homeland.”

The statement concluded by chanting the slogans "Long live the brotherhood of peoples" and "Victory for the Syrian Democratic Forces."
