Field commander: Turkish occupation uses weapons that release toxic materials against Manbij

A field commander in the Al-Bab Military Council forces confirmed that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries use various types of weapons in their attacks, including poisonous ones. He revealed that the occupation expelled the residents of the occupied villages and turned them into centers for Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries.

Since September 1, the Turkish occupation, its mercenaries, and the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham have been launching violent attacks on the villages of the northern and western countryside of the city of Manbij with heavy weapons, targeting villages inhabited by civilians indiscriminately, and fighters of the Al-Bab Military Council and the Manbij Military Council confront them and fail all their attacks.

The field commander of the Al-Bab Military Council, Ali Al-Yousef, explained to ANHA's agency that the villages of Al-Arima district in the liberated countryside of the liberated city of Al-Bab in the eastern sector are repeatedly bombed, even though they are populated villages. He said: “By targeting civilians, the occupying state seeks to weaken the resolve of civilians.” Al-Bab Military Council forces, because they are unable to confront our forces that have a guerrilla spirit.”

Ali Al-Yousef stressed that this bombing is not new, but rather their villages have been bombed for seven years, and it has caused loss of lives and civilian property.

Al-Yousef stated that: “The Turkish occupation mercenaries are targeting the area by land and air randomly, and are using all types of heavy and light weapons, Kalashnikovs, launchers, and drones. They also recently targeted the village of Tal Turin, adjacent to the occupied areas, with bombs that emit white smoke without exploding or making a sound, according to information.” What we found are weapons that emit toxic materials."

The field commander, Ali al-Yousef, also revealed that the Turkish occupation is massing its forces along the border strip separating the areas occupied by Turkey's mercenaries and liberated by the councils of Manbij and al-Bab in the northern and western countryside.

He confirmed that the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) have been stationed along the frontlines, and in villages from which they forcibly displaced their people and made them a military zone."

Al-Yousef revealed the falsity of the allegations promoted by the mercenaries that they are tribal forces.

Ali Al-Yousef emphasized the solidarity of the people of the region with their forces, and said: "We are all the people of the region, so we receive great support from the people, and from this standpoint we promise our people that we will confront all the attacks of the Turkish occupation and follow the path of our martyrs."
