Settlement of 120 forcibly deported Syrian refugees in the occupied Girê Spî

On Tuesday , the Turkish occupation authorities deported a new batch of Syrian refugees from their lands towards the occupied Girê Spî canton, bringing the number of deportees during the current month to 320.

A local source from the occupied Girê Spî canton reported that the Turkish occupation authorities today handed over 120 Syrian refugees to their mercenaries from the military police through the border gate, in preparation for their settlement in the homes of the forcibly displaced.

On the 3rd of this month, ANHA's agency documented the deportation of 200 refugees, bringing the number of deportees during the current month to 320.

Our agency also documented, during the past month, the resettlement of 1,493 deportees in the occupied Girê Spî canton, while the number of deportees has reached since the date Turkish officials announced in early April of last year the construction of settlements in the occupied areas of Syria "Jarabulus, Afrin, Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî" and the deportation of one million Syrian refugees from its lands to those areas for approximately 25,820 deportees.
