​​​​​​​ "Security Reinforcement" operation launched at request and support of clans of Deir al-Zor

Operation "Security Reinforcement" launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces, in the Deir al-Zor region to pursue ISIS mercenary cells, criminal elements and drug dealers, entered its third day in a row.

The fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces participating in the "Security Reinforcement" operation confirmed to ANHA agency: "It came based on the demands of our people and clans in Deir al-Zor".

They explained that the operation is going well, and they stressed: "We will continue the operation until the area is completely cleaned of cells".

The fighters confirmed: "ISIS cells were targeting the sheikhs of tribes and clans and personalities to create strife in the region, and in the countryside of Deir al-Zor in particular, and that ISIS mercenaries are trying to destabilize the security of the region, for this matter we carried out this operation to enhance security in Deir al-Zor".

And the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces stated: "We in the Syrian Democratic Forces are part of the people of the region. We are also the sons of these clans, we protect the region and the clans support us".
