Discontent in Damascus-held areas over deteriorating living conditions

SOHR stated that hundreds of Saida Town in Daraa went out on peaceful demonstrations in front of Al-Aswad Al-Kabir Mosque in Saida Town in eastern Daraa countryside, where the protestors demanded improvement in living conditions and the release of detainees, while the State Security fired flare bombs to intimidate the protestors.

Today, the observatory reported that the city of Inkhil, the town of Tal Shihab, and the Semlin junction in the countryside of Daraa witnessed demonstrations against the Damascus government forces and its policies of deliberately humiliating and starving the Syrian people.

Several regions witnessed demonstrations against the policy of the Damascus government and spread to Jabal Al-Alawyin.

While the Syrian Observatory indicated that hundreds of residents of Jaramana went out this morning, for the second day in a row, in a demonstration calling for the overthrow of the regime and the release of the detainees, and denouncing the deteriorating living conditions that exhausted the citizens, amid news of the arrival of the governor of Damascus countryside to the city to meet with the people in front of the city council to listen to their demands and calm the situation.
