Future Syria Party holds mass meeting in countryside of Deir Ezzor

The meeting was held in the eastern region council building in the town of Hajin with participation of the town's residents, clan notables, and members of civil institutions in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the head of the Future Syria Party, Abd Hamid Al-Mehbash who explained the latest political developments in the Syrian arena, and said: “The meetings of Sochi, Astana and others have deepened the Syrian crisis politically, militarily and economically, because those meetings do not represent the aspirations of the Syrians."

He added, "Any meeting that does not reflect the demands of the Syrian people and their aspirations will not be able to resolve the Syrian crisis. During the preparations for the last Astana meeting, the Turkish occupation bombed the cities of Manbij and al-Shahba, and this is evidence that they gave Turkey the green light to launch attacks on NE Syria in particular, amid international inaction about these attacks."

Al-Mehbash explained, "NE Syria and the Syrian Democratic Forces are under constant attacks, and everyone knows that the solution to the Syrian crisis will be through the Autonomous Administration model, because it seeks to solve it through the Syrian dialogue."

"NE Syria is also facing terrorist threats, and is making strenuous efforts to eliminate ISIS mercenaries, in addition to confronting Turkish plots that aim to occupy more Syrian lands," he added.

Then the discussion was opened to the participants, who emphasized the importance of enhancing political awareness and the need for solidarity between the people of NE Syria to overcome the challenges facing the region.

At the end of the meeting, the participants affirmed the willingness of the people of the region to actively participate in building Syria politically and economically by unifying efforts and strengthening cooperation among all to achieve stability in the country.
