NPG: leap of August 15 revealed correct way for freedom of Kurdistan

This came during a statement issued by the Central Command of the People's Defense Center (NPG) on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the August 15 leap, as follows:

  "We congratulate the 39th anniversary of the August 15th leap the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the families of the martyrs, our patriotic people, the friends of our people, and all our comrades who struggle in all fields.

On this occasion we remember in the person of our comrade the of this historic leap, the immortal commando leader of our Guerrilla army, Comrade Akid (Masoum). Korkmaz, all our martyrs in the resistance with the greatest respect, gratitude and love.

The appearance of the PKK on the stage of history and its implementation of the August 15th leap is considered as a new birth that was underlined in the history of the Kurds and Kurdistan.

This assessment is a very accurate assessment, as it was made 39 years ago, and it is a historic decision that was implemented over a period of 39 years, it is the starting point for the great uprisings, where a stage ends and a new one begins and continues for decades and centuries as much as its current impact, here is our historical leap of August 15 that was implemented in the stage in which the Kurdish people and Kurdistan were facing the policy of assimilation.
